About Ropera Photography
More than being a photographer, I'd consider myself to be a storyteller, and I think there's nothing better than that. To be honest, it’s so difficult to summarize the impact that capturing moving, authentic moments in people’s lives bring to my heart. It brings me so much joy to string together each little moment, from the look on a groom’s face the first time he sees his bride, to the excitement of a lit dance floor as the wedding day celebration goes on into the night, to craft a story your photos will tell for years to come.

Weddings are the only time I stay up late. Honestly, my bed time is 8:45/9pm, and my friends say I'm a total grandma.
I'm an aunt to the best nieces and nephews ever. Biased? I don't think so. When my eldest niece was two, she cracked up at the sound of me saying the word goose so I said it on repeat. It stuck and now they all call me Goose Goose!
I love traveling anywhere but mostly historic sites. As of now, I've been to Jamaica, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, Canada, and Mexico. We have current plans to make our way back to Ireland and Iceland in the hopefully near future!
I met my husband, Jake, through on an online dating app like so many other couples theses days. He was in the military stationed in my home state of Washington while I was living in his home state in Tennessee... so insanely ironic! Our wedding was September of 2024 and was the most perfect day, even with the rain (rain is not as scary as you think!)

Once you're ready to say "I do" to working with me (see what I did there?), I'll send over your contract & invoice for your initial deposit. Once those are both complete, your session/wedding date is booked!
