Rainy Beginnings, Perfect Timing

Chris and Amanda’s wedding day kicked off with a little suspense—rain. For a while, it looked like the ceremony might head indoors, and we all know indoor backup plans never feel quite the same. But right on cue, the skies cleared. The couple exchanged vows outside beneath a blooming wisteria arbor. The purple flowers spilled over the arch like something straight out of a fairytale. As a wedding photographer in Gallatin TN, I couldn’t have asked for a more magical scene to capture.

A Veil Full of Meaning

Amanda’s bridal look was timeless, but her veil stole the show. It had already been worn by three women in her family before her. With every step, it floated behind her like a thread weaving generations together. It was sentimental, beautiful, and maybe just a little tricky to keep out of the grass. As a wedding photographer in Gallatin TN, details like this are my favorite to document—because they tell a bigger story.

Whimsical Reception Details

After the ceremony, guests were treated to a reception with personality. Subtle “Lord of the Rings” touches showed up in the décor—Elvish script signs, woodland vibes, and candlelight that felt straight out of Rivendell. It was just enough magic to keep things fun without anyone needing a Hobbit costume. The creativity fit Chris and Amanda perfectly, and it made every photo pop with charm.

Dancing Into the Night

When the DJ turned up the music, the dance floor never emptied. From joyful spins to questionable but enthusiastic moves, the energy was contagious.

Chris and Amanda’s day was unforgettable—rain, romance, and a dash of whimsy. For any wedding photographer in Gallatin TN, it was the kind of celebration that reminds you why this job is such a joy.
