Originally, Jayne and Robby were planning a romantic Nashville elopement, traveling from Austin, TX to Tennessee to say their vows in the heart of Music City. They envisioned an intimate ceremony followed by exploring downtown Nashville together.
But sometimes love just can’t wait.
During their wedding shower back in Texas, they decided to turn the celebration into an impromptu ceremony and made it official right then and there. Surrounded by friends and family, they exchanged vows in a completely unexpected and joy-filled moment. What was once their planned Nashville elopement quickly transformed into something just as meaningful and maybe even more memorable.
Turning Their Nashville Elopement Plans into a Honeymoon Adventure
Even though the ceremony happened in Texas, they kept their Nashville plans — turning what would have been their Nashville elopement into the start of their honeymoon instead. And honestly? It was the perfect decision.
When they arrived in Nashville, the pressure of the wedding day was gone. Instead, we focused on celebrating their marriage in a relaxed and playful way. Downtown Nashville was alive and buzzing, and we embraced every bit of it.
We wandered along Broadway and through the neon-lit Printers Alley, capturing the unique energy of Music City. Between the summer heat and the excitement of navigating the crowds, we definitely worked up a sweat but it only added to the fun and authenticity of their gallery.

No Nashville elopement (or honeymoon session!) would feel complete without skyline views from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. With the city stretching behind them and the river below, it was the perfect romantic setting to celebrate their first days as husband and wife.
